Every episode of Elsewhere is built from segments — 90-second to 3-minute pieces created by filmmakers, animators, writers, and musicians around the world.

We don't take open pitches. We maintain a registry of verified creators whose work we trust. When a City Brief drops, it goes to the 15–20 people in the registry whose style and discipline match that city's needs. If commissioned, you create. If approved, your work airs. If it airs, you're credited and paid.

This is not a competition. It is a curation. If your work belongs here, we want to know about it.

"We are looking for creators who make work that feels like it came from somewhere — and who understand that Elsewhere is not a platform. It is a door."
What We're Looking For
  • One existing 90-second piece of original work that shows your voice
  • Work that is cinematic, literary, or visually restrained — not loud, not fast, not algorithm-optimised
  • Creators who can work to a brief, meet a deadline, and deliver clean files
  • People who understand that this show has an aesthetic, and that aesthetic is not negotiable
What Happens Next
  • Submit your sample and a one-sentence pitch via this form
  • Christopher reviews every submission personally
  • If accepted, you'll be tagged by discipline and region in our registry
  • When a City Brief matches your profile, you'll receive it directly — no public call
  • Commissioned work receives a fee or rev-share depending on contributor status
Registry Application

One work sample. One sentence. If we can see the work in your description, we'll know it belongs here.
